La Nueva Fogata

I placed an order of pupusas for my boss over the phone at this restaurant. I ordered in Spanish because my boss, who is from India, understands some Spanish but is not fluent. When he went to pick up the order, he tried to communicate in English, but the cashier and other servers refused to speak English to him. I was really surprised and embarrassed because I had recommended this place, which I had been to many times before. I didn’t realize that they only spoke Spanish. To my knowledge, the restaurant was bilingual because the menu was in both English and Spanish. I have decided not to recommend this place again because of their poor customer service, especially toward new customers. Although their pupusas are good, the prices are high, and the portions are very small. This experience has led me to decide that I will no longer visit this restaurant or recommend it to anyone.
